As artists we are always developing. I started this site some years ago to monitor my progress at art classes. Some areas have improved faster than others and I expect this to continue to be an interesting journey. Constructive comments are always welcome. Steve.

"HiLLoch". The product of today's craft class. A stained-glass effect made by drawing a design on card then cutting a stencil from that. Used stencil as guide to paint the coloured bits, then applied printers ink to reverse of stencil and repositioned it over the painting. The whole thing then pressed with a roller to transfer the black ink to the non-painted areas.

Loch Etive winter

Thought I ought to post at least one picture. This is an acrylic painting of a friend's boat 'The Pippin' on Loch Etive, with Ben Cruachan in the background.

First Post

This is my first post here.
I intend to put my pictures here to try and see if I make any progress from my art classes. I expect this to be an interesting journey!
